Sheep Island in Gouldsboro, Maine
This photo shows privately owned 9.4 acre Sheep Island as seen from the southern section of the Village of Corea near Cranberry Point - part of the municipality of Gouldsboro, Maine. This is a nesting place for the American Bald Eagle. There are several islands at this location making it a nice spot for sunrises. and island silhouettes. This area is close to the Acadia National Park section that is at Schoodic Peninsula. Image capture was on September 16 at about 12:55 PM.
