Sunrise near Thunder Hole in Acadia
This golden sunrise photo was taken in Acadia National Park near Thunder Hole. Sand Beach can be seen in the cove in the distance. This is at low tide. It is very common to see this intensity of color here as the sun first shines above the horizon. When the pink granite is wet, the color also deepens.
