Carriage Road Bridge at Duck Brook

Carriage Road Bridge in Autumn

The stone-faced bridge on the Carriage Road at Duck Brook in Bar Harbor, Maine, is among the most iconic and photographed stone bridges in Acadia National Park. Surprisingly, many visitors are unaware of its location. To find it, head west on Route 233 from the Bar Harbor business district. Just before you reach Eagle Lake, you will see Duck Brook Road on the right, or the north side.
