Jordan Pond Shore Trail
Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island, Maine

The Jordan Pond Shore Trail follows the water's edge with some rocky sections. The trail begins at the Jordan Pond parking area (not the Jordan Pond Restaurant parking area) and is a 3.3 mile/5.3 km loop. The picture above is looking north from the west shoreline of Jordan Pond. The mountain in the distance is South Bubble Mountain.

No swimming is allowed in Jordan Pond. Non-motorized boats such as canoes and kayaks are permitted.
