Jordan Pond with Morning Fog - Acadia

On this early June morning, the fog drifting over Jordan Pond conjured a whimsical, fantasy-like atmosphere. The walking path to the right seems as if it might lead to a dreamland. In many respects, Acadia National Park embodies such a magical place for the countless visitors who flock there annually. In the foreground, chairs are arranged for outdoor seating for guests at the Jordan Pond House Restaurant.
