Long Pond, Seal Harbor on Mount Desert Island, Maine

A short distance west of Seal Harbor village is the beautiful Long Pond providing a fantastic view of Acadia National Park. As you head west from Seal Harbor on Route 3, the pond and the mountain view will be on your right. You may miss it if your attention is on the ocean which is on the left so drive slowly. A Carriage Road is between Route 3 and the pond and runs north on both sides of Long Pond if you would like to go for a walk.
