The park loop road on the western side of Schoodic Peninsula runs close to West Pond Cove. The road is one-way in this section running north-to-south.

The park loop road on the western side of Schoodic Peninsula runs close to West Pond Cove. The road is one-way in this section running north-to-south. The view here is looking north in the opposite direction of oncoming traffic. From this vantage point, you can see the spectacular mountains of Mount Desert Island to the west.
