This Acadia & Bar Harbor Harbor photo group is a blend of images that span spring, summer and autumn on Mount Desert Island and Schoodic Peninsula, located on the mainland. Most of the images were captured in the very early morning or late afternoon. The reason is simple - color and contrast.

Still photography is a very interesting notion and experience. In a sense, it is like having a special power to freeze or compress time. Providing that we have the right equipment and the basic knowledge of how a camera works, and how to use the various softwares, we are able to capture enough visual information to be able to magnificently explore and fine-tune these moments into a pleasing visual experience that has the ability draw people into the scene as well as to resonate with their own special interpretation that reflects each person's own life.
