Acadia National Park has many special places such as this section of Stanley Brook on the south-central side of Mount Desert Island. The sound of the water trickling over the rocks echoes through the surrounding forest. Places like this challenge us to find quiet places within ourselves that blend with the brook and the gentle sound of the breeze through the evergreens above.
