Black Mansion in Ellsworth, Maine
The Black Mansion, also known as Woodlawn, was built in 1828 for Colonel John Black, an important historical figure in the early development of the Ellsworth, Maine. Today, his mansion is preserved in historical detail with rae period furniture. It is open from May 15 through October 31. (next photo)
