The famous Carriage Roads on Mount Desert Island in Acadia National Park provide a unique network of auto-free roads for hikers, bikers, equestrians, and horse-drawn carriages to explore and enjoy the many natural settings. This particular section is on the south end of Jordan Pond. (next photo)
