Asticou Terraces, located in Northeast Harbor on Mount Desert Island, Maine, was designed by noted landscape architect, Joseph Henry Curtis, and became his gift for the “quiet recreation of the people of this town and their summer guests.” It is easily one of the most beautiful places on the island and one of the least known.
