The Beehive seen from Gorham Mountain in Acadia National Park

This shows The Beehive as seen from Gorham Mountain on the east coast of Mount Desert Island. It's summit is 520 feet (158 m) providing panoramic views of the rocky coast of Maine. Hikers can often be seen from the Sand Beach parking area or the Summit of Gorham Mountain, climbing along its eastern face. There are many other mountains on the island with hiking trails to discover.
